As you may know by now, if you have even glanced at my blog before, I am pretty detail oriented. I have very high expectations. I'm the only girl in my immediate family, and I'm the first girl (of all the grandchildren and cousins, etc.) in my family to get married. Additionally, my family is naturally over-the-top and larger-than-life... so it's only natural for my wedding to follow suit. I have not been stressed by the wedding planning process so far, because I have had SO many months to plan (since May 26, 2009). While most planners may have been annoyed by my dominant approach, Kristen loved it and complimented my thoroughness.
We talked for a LONG time about everything regarding the wedding, down to the smallest details... such as how I am going to display the escort cards. Since our first meeting, Kristen has kept in constant contact with me. She emails me ideas, pictures, and even goes to antique malls and boutiques to look for things I could use... then she sends me pictures from her phone of the things she found! She is so thoughtful, knows exactly what I want, and really understands my taste.
We are meeting on May 19th to spend the day looking at the venues and meeting with vendors... I can't wait!!
She is such a
